LIAR, LIAR Donald Trump: Is yours the nose that launched a thousand lies? Do tell me, please!

When Donald J. Trump took his oath as president of the United States of America on January 20, 2017, many doubted that he would be honest with the American people - largely because of his lifetime record of fibbing and lying and making things up, including his record of a string of conspiracy theories. So a lot of folk took his oath with a grain of salt. It now turns out that those that did should have swallowed spoons-full of not only salt but pepper and paprika as well, for President Trump has told the American people more than 200 documented first-class lies in the first 40 days of his presidency alone.

Here's just five of the lies the country's 45th president has spewed out of his fibbing mouth in the first 40 days of his presidency:

1. He lied about the size of his inauguration crowd when he claimed: “Honestly, it looked like a million and a half people. Whatever it was it was, but it went all the way back to the Washington Monument . . . it was packed all the way back to the Washington Monument." FACT: There were fewer than half a  million people and the crowd did not even get close to the Washington Monument.

2. He lied about the size of his electoral college victory when he bragged: "I got 306 because people came out and voted . . . it was the biggest Electoral College win since Ronald Reagan." FACT: Trump actually received 304 electoral votes (two refused to vote for him). All the former presidents after Reagan received more electoral votes than Trump, including George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama. When a reporter pointed out that Trump's numbers were all wrong, President Trump replied: "I was just given that information. I don't know. I was just given . . . we had a very big margin." Still lying!

3. He claimed that "many, many" terrorist attacks across Europe were not being reported by the media. FACT: Only two terrorist attacks took place in Europe (in Paris and Nice) at the time of his claim and both were extensively covered by the press around the world.

4. He claimed that two people were shot and killed during President Obama's farewell speech in Chicago: "Two people were shot and killed during his speech." FACT: Chicago police reported that no one was killed by gun violence the day President Obama delivered his farewell speech.

5. He claimed in a speech before business leaders at the White House on Jan. 24: "I'm a very big person when it comes to the environment. I have received awards on the environment." FACT: The fact is that Donald Trump has expressed his preference for fossil energy - including coal - over clean energy and here is NO evidence that Donald Trump received any awards on the environment.

These and more than 200 other lies Donald Trump has spewed since his inauguration are well documented. All one has to do is a Google search of Donald Trump lies and start feasting!

Meanwhile, President Trump's nose is getting longer, and longer - about a millimeter longer - after each lie.
